Research Interests

Our laboratory focuses on utilizing a mouse model of C. difficile infection to investigate the role of host factors in the pathogenesis of acute C. difficile infection. Specifically, we are interested in understanding the role of cytokines, such as interferon-gamma, in providing protection against infection. Through our research, we aim to uncover novel insights into host-pathogen interactions and potential therapeutic targets for combating C. difficile infection.
