Genomics Core

The Brody Integrative Genomics Core (BIG Core) houses both basic and translational genomics research, provides individual investigators, fellows and students access to state-of-the-art next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies, conducts integrative genomic experiments, and bioinformatics analyses, and provides education and training opportunities in areas of genomics and bioinformatics.

As a centralized resource, we offer a multitude of genomics services to take any potential difficulty out of NGS-related projects for all the users, novice and experienced. We strive to provide assistance in all facets of NGS-related projects, from upstream experimental design to downstream data analysis. Our mission is to support investigators with accurate and innovative genomics and bioinformatics tools, serve the research community in a cost-effective and efficient manner, and facilitate our users in conducting their best research possible.
