Liquid Handling Automation
The automated liquid handler utilizes positive displacement dispensing technology to measure and dispense discrete volumes of liquid with high accuracy and speed. With low volume, high volume, and continuous flow chips, the instrument dispenses volumes down to 100 nL with a good reproducibility at CV < 3% and with a dead volume down to 6 µL. MANTIS, therefore, miniaturizes reaction, scales up throughput, saves on reagents, removes pipette tip cost, and provides ultimate flexibility for genomics applications and screening workflows. The user-friendly software allows for quick set-up and dispensing into 96-, 384- or 1536-well plates.
VIAFLO96 is an electronic pipette that enables transfers of up to 96 samples in a single step, with increased pipetting throughput and reproducibility. With programming via VIALINK, its automatic mode allows convenient hands-free operation. Currently, we have 12.5 µL and 300 µL 96-channel pipetting heads.
INTEGRA Biosciences ASSIST PLUS
ASSIST PLUS is a pipetting robot for full workflow automation, compatible with INTEGRA VIAFLO or VOYAGER multichannel electronic pipettes, with fixed and adjustable tip spacing. With programming via VIALAB intuitive graphical user interface (GUI), it allows controlled pipetting speeds and precise tip positioning in wells. Currently, we have 12.5 µL and 300 µL multi-channel pipettes.

Combined with a wide choice of liquid handling tools, accessories, and application options, the epMotion 5075 NGS Solution system can cover all genomic automation needs, including NGS sample preparation, PCR setup, and sample normalization. The highly accurate pipetting system, combined with unique operating features, ensures that the quality of the data generated by pre-optimized and manufacturer-qualified NGS reagent kit methods meets or most often exceeds the stringent kit manufacturer’s qualification guidelines. Currently, we have 50 µL and 300 µL, single- and 8-channel, pipette heads.
Beckman Coulter Biomek i-Series Automated Liquid Handling Workstations
Biomek i7 Hybrid is equipped with both span-8 pipetting and multichannel (MC-96) head, 2 rotating grippers, 4 automated labware positioners (ALPs), including one tip washing, one shaking, and two heating/cooling, and an integrated thermocycler, which enables mid- to high-throughput laboratory automation with walk-away.
Biomek i5 is equipped with an MC-96 head, a rotating gripper, and 3 ALPs, including one tip washing, one shaking, and one heating/cooling, which enables high-throughput laboratory liquid handling.
